Technological pessimism is at an all-time high. The world is concerned about AI, privacy, the economy, the planet. Valid questions have been raised and we need to move forward with conscientiousness. But––call me an optimist–I'm not worried.
I'm not worried because I believe in the goodness of humankind. And I don't say this without evidence. I've seen and experienced some of the worst aspects of humanity––up close and for a long time... But I've also seen and experienced humanity at its best.
From it all, I've learned one thing:
The people who pull you out of the water are a hundred times stronger than the ones who try to drown you.
I'm proud to say that this community is full of people trying to pull each other up. And that's how we'll build INTERSTELLAR.
